Two questions:

1. Any reports or feed back about the operation or area of Ross/Luke Green at Call O' The Wild near Lake Taupo? (Primarily interested in red deer.)

2. For a combination of good weather and good hunting, which months would you suggest and which months would you avoid?

Thanks,
Kyler

It all depends on where you are hunting & if it is free range or behind wire.

Free range hunting on private property for red stags is best in mid March to mid April. You can still expect some rain but it will not be long periods or for 3 or 4 days. But having said that, we do get typical Island weather patterns when a low can set in for a few days and ruin everything. This can happen any time of the year but less likely in March or early April. Good luck.
