Hi there, I have a western action holster that I need some modifications done on, and am looking for suggestions on who can do this. When I go to the gun show at Canterbury (NSW) I have seen a vendor there who gets around in a cowboy setup who does a lot of leather work. Have tried searching through the yellow pages but that is not working out too well. I need the holster shortened as it looks like it was made for a 7 1/2" barrel and mine is 5 1/2". Also need one of the bullet loops tightened up and probably lengthen the tongue. The holster was a present from the US, so I'd prefer to keep it than to buy another. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The next show is on in February so I'll keep an eye out for him and see if I can get a business card. Feral_Goz

Do you have a saddle maker or auto upholsterer in your local town ? They work with leather all the time and should be able to do your modification without any trouble . ________________________ Old enough to know better

Feral, The best leatherman I have ever seen lives here in Brisbane. He shoots Western Action and loves to make/fix holsters, been doing it for 25 years. I have seen him cut down holsters like you want before,it's hard to see where it was done. PM for his phone number. Regards,Shaun. Muzza, I thought about a saddlemaker or auto upholsterer. But would prefer if I can find someone who specialises in Western Action. Thanks for the post though. Easy, PM sent. Thanks a lot. Feral_Goz
