Total tally was 23. I missed one and winged one that was killed by another guy over the creek. Most of them came from one stretch of creek/bush and the dogs worked hard for them. Had a new guy line up a fox that was between me and him and I dropped to the ground and could hear the shot go over...words were said!

I took a couple of skins and check out the fat on a little vixen.

Some of the pups

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Glad to hear all that military training was not wasted, and I bet some choice words were said.

That's amazing! Though I've shot a few foxes, I've never seen more than two or three grassed on one occasion.

Sounds like that French hunt I commented on earlier!
Great result that! Used to be able to get large numbers of foxes with hounds and guns in Wales but politics stopped all that. Now, due to thermal scopes, rural foxes are getting scarce in the UK. They now live in cities where it's safe.
Thank God they never introduced them into NZ!

There are a few about. Last year we averaged about 11 per Saturday. This was an unusual day.

UPDATE...1 June

16 yesterday! Bloody hard work as well. We hunted one BIG irrigation channel and some stretchers held no foxes.
