Interesting note on less animals being taken. My info is a little different. Many hound hunters have given up their foxhounds (obviously) and gone over to the beagles. I think some hound hunters are looking on the next few years as a last hooray and it's open slather, take as many animals as you can, which some are doing. Now I have absolutely nothing against hound hunting but a little more worrying to me personally is a story (and I hope sincerely that it is just a story!!) of some "doggers" switching over too and running GSP's and GWP's in hound mode. Last thing I need is my Brittany banned from Sambar hunting because of a reckless few.
