It sounds as though you are going to have to find a big house with lots of extra bedrooms!

Nanango in the South Burnett district. Sister-in Law has a neighbour on 801ha with a 1.5km east boundary to State forest. Old Jim, (the owner) said that if I shoot his foxes/wild dogs for free, I can have all the deer I want.

BAW,

Congratulations on the new role!!

If you don't mind my asking, what's the 'job'?

I need a career change - French Foreign Legion is not an option, I have too close a relationship with my son.

CSA permitting, I'd like to explore the possibility of what you're doing!

Well in 4 weeks I'll be changing location to the country (unlike muzza). Yes the very heart of red deer country where you can drive for 20mins and be shooting same afternoon and back home by nightfall.
My new offsider is a shooter, my boss is a shooter and the fulltime job involves talking to mostly rural folk.
This move is something I've dreamed about for 30 years. Yaaahhoo!
Now I gotta deside what rifles about 15(out of the 145 remaining) to take and what to leave behind!

The "Vault" is 12'x7'x3' built of 150mm core-filled conc block and chemsetted to the floor via 64 Y12 bars. Outer shield of 6mm plate and doors over the blocks. Bit hard to shift!
Got one of the 'Sentry' gun safes holding 14 on order so I can only take about 15 rifles plus all the handguns.
22 r/f, 17AH, 22Hornet, 22PPC, 220Swift, 250 Savage, O/U 12ga, 5 Sharps & 2 Martini's, 3 Winchesters.
Going to rent initially but when I buy a new place, I will be rebuilding the vault.
