At 0730ish this morning my granddaughter Millie Jane Baker was born. 55cm long and a touch over 4kg (size of a nice snapper dancing)

Mum and bub doing well. Smiler

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Thanks Saeed, I'm going home this weekend for two weeks so they should be out of the hospital by the time I get home.

Oh well there goes the tinkering with your newly acquired 9.3 for a while. Higher grandy duties take precedent now.
Best wishes to you and family. You've got some great times coming up.
Similar to boys going with mums and girls with dads, I notice grandkids are the same. My only grand-daughter (8yo now) has always had me twisted round her little finger.

Ha ha you just wait, your new addition can't articulate yet but once she can, distance means nothing. When they get up on your knee, wrap their arms around you and whisper they 'need' a certain leggo set for a school project, the fact it costs $180 just doesn't cross your mind 2020 .
I suppose the cost is about the same I spent on her 10yo brother for a 20g single shot he got for this years duck season so I can't complain.

They know how to melt your heart, and open your wallet Big Grin

I don't have any.

But my brothers do, and they all somehow are very fond of me??

Yesterday afternoon I had several here in the workshop, and had to actually kicked them out because their parents wanted them back!

Their grandmothers keep saying I am one of the children! rotflmo

Congratulations, Bakes! Some say the true test of our genetic success is not how many kids we have but how many GCs. I guess it shows that not only can we get/beget kids but ones able and motivated to go out and do likewise.

So far we've only got two but they are the apples of my eye. Their mother asked one if he would like to go 10-pin bowling, to be told: "No, we only do that with Pappy."

We had our fourth grandson come into this crazy world a week ago.

He, and each of his cousins, is a joy and our devout hope for the future.

Congratulations, Bakes!
