Here is perhaps the most important issue that has faced NZ hunting for the past 30 years. Finally the oppotunity has been presented for ALL interested parties to have input into the future of hunting in NZ.

It has taken alot of hard work and political pushing and juggling to have Game management on the political agenda.

So please take the oppotunity and look though the following link www.gameanimalpanel.org.nz
At the very least fill in the questionaire.

Then forward this link to any person or groups that need to put there views forward.
Its a once in a life time chance and is critical to the future of our game resources.
Its an international issue as well as national, so everyone that has hunted NZ,plans to hunt NZ or is just interested in helping out follow hunters, get to it,now

Personally I'd encourage you to be objective rather than subjective. This should not be a vehcile for clombering those that don't seem to agree with our hunting view points. Us it to find points that all parties can agree on.

If we can get our game animals off the pest list and listed as game animals then management will become the obvious next step and that has to be the single biggest issue facing us. Control of pest has to be replaced with game management.
Every little bit counts, so seize the moment.

Gidday Guys,

Done but found the questions to be rather loaded. It was only really how bad a pest they are with no real value put on the animals I felt but it is a start.

I just hope that the result is better than the 1080 review and not another foregone conclusion.

Happy Hunting

Well said and couldn't be more true. You folks are lucky to have a seemingly broad viewed report and an opertunity to speak to the issues! I took the time to do so in hopes that there will be game to hunt again the next time I make it down that way!
