Anyone who uses the .222 Rimmed got a pet load they want to share ? I am about to load a batch with AR2205 powder and could use a bit of guidance...Also have some Norma 200 powder . I have 30,35,40,45,50 and 55 grain projectiles to choose from , plus the download from the ADI website so I can tough it out myself if necessary . I read somewhere that the rimmed version of the .222 cant be loaded to the same pressures as the standard case type . Any one with a pet theory on that ?

Thanks BA. I was hoping for a tried and tested load for AR2205 because thats what I use in my Hornet and I have a full can of it . I have lots of other ADI data off their website so shall make a best guess based on that . So many goats to murder , so little time to load ammo....

I use 2207 for all my loads. 20.5gn 2207 with the 40gn Nosler BT for 3300fps 19.8gn 2207 with a 50gn SP for 3080fps Both these loads will group about MOA. Both loads give effortless extraction and long caselife in my rifle.

Quote: I've always found it easier to take them off after or as my mate says, use plenty of gun and it'll be hard to tell if it was dog
