I always thought Pondoro was pretty tough. When it came to living in the bush. Foa's book is a 10/10. I wish C. Fletcher Jamison had lived to write a book. Would have put so many others into perspective. But I do recommend Foa.

GBB , Where are you sourcing your hunting books ? Was on the amazon.com website the other day . They have heaps but most of the vendors won't ship outside the USA . Ever tried Bunduki Books ? The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood. I get some off Peter at Bundooki books, the others off Amazon. Its just a case of looking who will ship here- Amazon is usually good themselves. i find its some of the other sells under "New and used" who tend to not ship here. But Peter is the main source.

You folks wanting to buy in the USA from firms that refuse to ship over there, and needing remailing of things like books and others. I've done some of it, have an Oz referrence you can contact and am willing to have things shipped to my home, then I'll remail them for you. Only requirments: has to be Legal. and you pay the expenses. georgeld@hotmail.com George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Join the NRA today!" LM: NRA, DAV, George L. Thank you. I would never ask someone to ship something illegal after seeing a local here being hit for importing (trying to) 600 valium tablets. Two car loads of guys drove four hours from Melbourne and put the poor bastard through hell. Customs blokes. He's a professional guy here in town, married for damn near three decades. Was taking valium after the loss of a son. Good bloke. They treated him pretty ordinarily. After that sight of our Customs here, I would never step over the thin line in the sand. Thank you for the offer. If I ever find another book seller saying "no", I'll be in contact. I'll post at sometime on our board but Dennis Lyall's books have greatly impressed me lately. Thanks mate.

GBB , Amazon themselves had a few that I like so ordered Hunter by John A Hunter and Death In The Long Grass by Capstick . Not really cheap at US$48.00 landed but they are hardcovers . Bunduki seem to have a pretty good range . Downloaded their list a couple of days ago . Got to get the Jim Corbett collection . Bushchook, I really like Hunter and Death in the Long Grass. I like it that JA retired to Scotland, hated it and went back to Africa. seems a few did that. I got two of Corbetts books off an Uncle 20 odd years ago and I still read them. He knows his game.
