Muzza,
I was going to photo your 'staying power in debates' and 'resolve to use the ignore function' but it seems neither actually exist.

Mickey took it light heartedly and you were not even supposed to be listening to me.

Are you still getting over that other thread?

Karl.

Close JCN , but not close at all.

This is Mt Egmont in New Zealand , but it was the backdrop to Tom Cruises movie "The Last Samurai " and the japanese get all excited over the similarity between the two hills .

It is volcanic , the small cone on the left is also volcanic in origin , and the last time it erupted was in the 1600's. Apparently it is due to go bang anytime now , should be interesting times when that happens....

This is the view from the eastern or inland side , the other side faces out towards Australia.

If you are interested it is there this morning again too ...

Muzza

This is what I have to look at off my deck. It doesn't seem to move much either. This is at sunrise.

Psychologists would have a field day with this thread.
Starts with pictures of the most breathtaking sets, and turns into whose got the biggest mountain.

No, Muzza and I are just pointing out that there are pretty things that don't invlove the Sun shinning through smoke from Brush fires.

Although the Sunsets were spectacular.

Unfortunately I could only offer the mountain photo cos my camera doesnt have a big enough zoom lens to capture a shot of Karls brain.....nor could I get far enough back to capture all of his ego.....

Actually I thought it was a pleasant thread about scenery shots , and was doing quite well without psychologist involvement...
