By a mate of mine that has moved back to the NT. He has access to a property that has pigs and buff and wanted my thoughts on a CZ in 375H&H. Now this is a guy that had a Marlin Guide gun in 45-70 a few years ago and had to get rid of it because of the recoil (cut himself with the scope once or twice).

He said "If I'm going to get a 375, why not get a 458 Win Mag instead" I said "Go ahead, and in a month I'll give you $600 cash for it"

If he couldn't take a guide gun, a 458 will kick the urine right out of him ....

Seriously, if he's so delicate, maybe a 35 whelen or a 9.3x62 ..

Tell him to get a Rem 700 SPS in 375H&H. The plastic stock reduces felt recoil by a large margin. acertain way less than a CZ550. I know i have had both.

Bren there's no telling him mate. I just laugh at him when he come up with a new plan.

He should have met those girls who used to shoot with us back in RSA ... used to wear those tank tops with the string straps and would shoot my 375 H&H as long as I had ammo and as long as I was prepared to stand with them and peep sideways at their boobs bouncing .... Those chicks were invincible.

Many males would retire wounded from the 375, looong before they did. ....
