I had not entertained the idea of moly coated hard casts before. What sort of velocities are we talking about here?

Yes PC is going for the same thing, he bought the 1886 from the same place I did, Think he is going to wait to see how mine turns out first.

I got the biullets I am going to use from Ten Ring and yes I had to pay part/all the tooling costs. Peter says that 2250fps should be fine the bullets are coated black and have a gas check.
Which reminds me to ask about the gas check, does anyone know if they should be close to bore diameter or land diameter?
