i think very shortly we are going to have a lot of problems....i spoke with one of the doggers who is involved in measuring the hounds etc etc and about two mounths ago he told me there were about 500 less animals taken this year as there was at the same time last year.....and in certain places the bush is so eaten out the deer are starting to suffer and there is talk of a poisioning blitz on the sambar ....hows that food for thought

If you need a few Sambar taken out, call some friends of mine in Louisiana - tell them a sambar is good to eat and out of season. They will have 300 hunters there in a week and the sambar will be gone.

Same goes for terrorists in Iraq.

Yeah right Con , Ok how's this, ONE of my areas with camp set up and huntin gear on and rifle in hand is about 1.5 hrs out of Benalla now that should be close enough for you haha..I'm coming up through Shepparton on Monday then on Tuesday across to Benalla and onto another area near Jamieson, I drive a white 98 hilux and I always have a big smile on my face ....your turn....Les

By the way there is no season on Sambar they can be hunted all year round, hope it stays that way.... Les
