Cheers intend to make one with deer next year. Not quite wild boar fever 7 but I don't have all the production costs either lol.

Interesting footage and some decent shooting but I'm still trying to work out how the initial combination gun made sense for a fox drive.

Yep the video illustrates how one cartridge is limited, especially for a fox drive.

The drilling was getting a mount put on that took for ages. My combo and drilling have a sling. My shotties don't. That gives me two hands free which can be very important at times.

Hi Chuck

Looks like fun. How's the drilling going? I'm very happy with mine: versatile, light and handy.

BTW you can get swivels fitted to a shotgun easily enough, but there's also those slings which simply loop around barrels and wrist of the stock, or you could take a gun slip with a sling on it, and drop the gun into that when you need both hands free.

Hi Dan, the drilling is going superbly. I had it ceracoted, had a SEM picatinny rail custom made from nightforce blank and bought an aimpont H2 Micro. I'm just waiting for the Leica ER5 1-5x14 CD scope for it and I'll be happy. Its been through a war in the last two years being dragged through mud, dropped into a watering trough, dragged through barbed wire etc. Probably more abuse than the previous 40 years and its going well. The kreighoff einstecklauf in 22mag shoots MOA at 100m so I'm pretty happy with that. Would like another in 308 and 20G so I've got my credit card ready lol!

How does one get to do such a hunt?

Looks like a lot of fun!

Just about every country town has a group of 'fox drive' locals that band together for fox season..winter.

Its easy enough to join in as the more shooters the more foxes.Any money made from skins/scalps goes to the local charity or more so towards an end of season piss up for the members.

Some of the bigger mobs in the open country in the Riverina take hundreds and hundreds of foxes every year...and the greens dont want us to have guns, how many fuggin foxes do they kill!

Very good question. Either get your own dogs, train them, get some property access and some mates together and start your own hunt club or join one.

I would be really keen to get some club contacts.

I would start with corresponding and making acquaintances and hope to make friends and come over for a hunt!

Any help with contacts would be highly appreciated.
