Just thought i'd let you know that I get meat from the local meat works, for wholesale prices. ie whole porterhouse 8.99 kg and rump is 7.99 at the moment. The wife gets it as she works there, and they kill seperate stock for this sole purpose. I know the sort of steak on hand in QLD, and it is crap, having lived in cairns for a while. Never had a decent feed of beef while there, just this old dark crap encrusted in yellow fat.
