Sydney would be a great place for your fiance to do a Masters (what is the Masters in?).

Australia is a big place however but lots of game. If you do venture this way I will take you to a great hunting place. It would be great to meet up.

Also we are trying to organise a group water buffalo hunt in Arnhemland for August 2005. This will be a great week of hunting for those interested.

I will send you an email soon.

Lorenzo !!! If I get that big bull elk .. I shall not complain about the cold !!! I promise ... Actually, I'd rather visit you in Sydney or Darwin .. than nasty ol' Calgary .. I wonder if the buff in Oz would hate me as much as that bad boy in Uruguay did ???

Lorenzo,
Some cattle properties are that large that some cattle get missed in the roundups.Then they turn wild.
The largest cattle property takes 6 hours driving to get from one side to the other.
Helicopters are used on the larger properties(Heli-mustering),so missing some cattle is par for the course.

Brahman cross bulls are know to be dangerous at the best of times especialy when yarded.Once turning wild they become even more dangerous.
Brahmans are used because of their resistance to ticks(a big problem),crossing them with other breeds adds bulk.
HTH.

Scrub=dense bush.
