Well my scope arrived yesterday and is postmarked 07/01/04
it went through customs with no problems my comments earlier were regarding a phone call to customs and I was told that any firearms related products needed an import permit (Victoria) but this come through
Far Canal the freight cost was more than the scope the scope was $31 and freight was $35 all up it cost $94 Aussie dollars compared to $190 locally

Thanks smelly,
So a Tasco 6-24x42AO Mildot that I paid $190 for would have been US$71 with rings,thats AUS$100+A$35 freight=A$135 landed.A$55 I could have saved + a set of rings I had to buy,A$40.
Not a bad saving for one fax.

In defence of the locals I think we should get them a to sharpen there pencils and help them stay in business.
Without our local gunshop we all will be screwed.
