I haven't hunted with him but I certainly would. I know a few of his clients who all rate him highly. He's been guiding for a long time, and has a great reputation for being an ethical and hard working guide. Cheers, Jim

My mate and I hunted Tahr and Chamois with Peter a couple of years ago in a pre season special. Peter know's his stuff and the areas to hunt.
He works hard for the client (even on a budget hunt)and you would be hard pushed to fault any aspect of his operation. He shows genuine concern for success with every client on their chosen prey. We had some time left over and he showed us around another property that had huge reds and fallow behind wire and outside the wire - very impressive.
He's a hard worker and you should have an excellent hunt.

Dave,

I hunted with Peter June of 2009 for Thar in the South Island and now I'm booked again with him May/June 2011.

Pete will put alot of effort in for you. Great hunt !!!!..........but he can't walk slowly on the flat.

One of the greatest "conservators" of clients that I've experienced. He knows when to rest a client in order to get the most out of him when it counts.

No hesitation in recommending him.

Haven't started packing yet but am looking forward to hunting with him again.

Dear Dave

I have hunted with s few NZ guides. Once I hunted with Peter that was the end of the selection process.

He has looked after me very well.
Free range we have taken, Thar x2, Chamous x1, red deer x2 and my then just 10 year old son shot an 11pt red stag.

He is a good guide and under stands what is required.

If you are dropping to Aussie on the way or want more info let me know.

I hope your legs are strong!!!!!!!!!

Regards
Mark
