Lorenzo, thanks for the information mate.I have read about Uruguay and would like to visit South America one day. Here most hunting is free for locals. Of those you mention, buffalo and banteng are generally exceptions to this rule and cost several thousand dollars to hunt. Scrub bulls or feral cattle are pests like most of our game species. Some people who are lucky enough to have access to properties where buff and feral cattle roam can hunt them for free-although more and more people are using the scrub bulls for trophy style hunts though these days- with associated costs. Australians as you probably know have the means to indulge in a great deal of hunting although our relaxed lifestyle means our politicians can ban our guns with little fuss these days. So there is a trade off in everything. Thanks again. Karl.

Thanks Karl and Shaun, It seems a paradise to live in that areas. Now I understand why so many feral animals live there, with that farm extensions it's impossible to control de cattle. Here we don't have many ticks so our cattle is "continental", near no b.indicus all b.taurus, and thety are much more friendly Take care LG
