The Mrs and I are looking at a visit to NZ. Our timeshare has resorts in the following areas.
Aukland
Paihia
Queenstown
Taupo
Turangi
Wanaka
If you had a week, where would you suggest we spend it. Would like to sightsee, etc. May be able to incorporate a few days hunting before, during or after the visit so should we try March/April for the roar?

Hello

If travelling with your wife then TP has it spot on - pleanty for them to do especially Queenstown.

If you chose Queenstown let me know, I'm happy to take you for a goat shoot to get you ready for the bigger hills and get your shooting eye in.

Cheers - Foster

Taupo / Turangi gets my vote.
Reds and Sika close by, freshwater fish at your door, salt water light tackle just a day trip adventure away as are the Fallow opportunities around Wanganui. Hell - you could even think about Sambar.
