I'm heading off in April to try for a Red stag...or hind, I'm not fussy. One of each would be nice as I have a bloody huge great Dane to feed

The place I'm hunting is the same place I got the hind last year (my thanks to AnotherAZWriter for the intro to the property owner )

AND I'm going to hunt the club blocks this year for some meat animals (yep that Dane again)

spent the last two days at the New Zealand Cartridge Collectors annual gathering , trading away part of my cartridge collection of many years. Time to realise the cash and go do other things.
Tomorrow the boy and I will be simulated field shooting at our local sporting shooters group. Further afield we are hoping for another hunting trip to Queensland in the winter , subject to confirmation. Fingers crossed on that one.
