Nah mate , the chicks own kid stopped feeding so she swapped the pup over in the belief that the dog will grow up to be protective of the kid .Dont ask about the cultural origins of the whole deal - I'm sure you can guess...

Most Kiwis would rather feed a puppy than an Aussie anyway...

Both dog and baby share the same name - Honey - and Ms Tumanako said she started feeding the pup twice a day after her own baby stopped taking her milk.

Maybe "Ms Tumanako" conceived the baby 'doggy-style' too.

careful JC , wild animals roaming the streets , cannibals on every corner - dangerous place to visit

Actually your travel agent is to be commended , a very astute person . You will have a great time here , not all the ladies breastfeed puppies , lest not in public anyway , but it makes for an interesting interlude away from American politics...

Have a great trip .

My wife and I are leaving tomorrow to spend a month in New Zealand. Have never been there before and now wonder what sort of place we are going to. Our travel agent assured us that the Kiwis were more friendly and civilized than the Aussies but now I don't know.

I thought you lived in Kingaroy , not Bogabilla...

I can sympathise with you , been through your town more than once and there are some rough bits...

You'll be right, mate! They are a friendly lot

Not like our indigenous mob, I have to ring for a police escort just to drive into town to inspect the streetlights!
