Just make sure they are listed as sporting rifles/cartridges and fully descibe them. 12x12/9.3x74R

Best bet would be to ask the NT police if they would grant a B709A import for a visiting hunter. just email them at firearms@pfes.nt.gov.au I cant see a problem at all... they issue the import permit and they are legal calibres. Why is that?? They (US citizens) dont need an export permit to take them out of the USA as personal items... A day spent in the bush is a day added to your life Hunt Australia - Website Hunt Australia - Facebook Hunt Australia - TV

Thanks for the replies... Had no problems last year going from US to Zim and back with 600 last year... US uses form 4457 as "certificate of personal items taken abroad"... We list our firearms on there... Just wasn't sure if there where any specific issues entering or exiting Australia (thought I read a post on here a long time ago where someone had an issue)... Thanks again... ______________________ Sometimes there is no spring... Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm...
