Ha Ha

You are predictable Muzza

You didn't ask that question in the first test when NZ took a drubbing.

As if you are not well aware NZ squeaked home by 7 runs in the second test, and its 1-all now.

The parochials on the other side of the ditch however will point to the need for a draw heading into the decider to get a crowd & maximise the money from the series.

Great game! Amazing few days for me as I am in India and just watched Sehwag score 219 and now the Kiwis have got one over the Aussies!

I cannot wait to watch the India vs Australia series.

Good game. Aussie middle order needs surgery.

You're right , of course , Dennis. I was merely attempting to foster a discussion that didnt have the word "helicopter" in it , and since my photography skills are less than some others the field was rather restrictive for me ...

I was just saying the other day to some sporting fanatic that I would prefer my son to come home and say " Dad - I am gay " than have him come home and say "Dad - I've been selected for the Black Caps ".

One win does not a great team make. When they play consistantly well for a whole year I may reconsider , but until then they will remain an object of endless wonderment to me .....

photography is a subject I have the most wonderment about & a serious lack of skill

I am the World President of the "Barely Adequate Photographers Club"..........the ones that shouldn't be posted , they are so embarrassingly poor.

Gryph's pics are at the other end of the scale.
Simply awesome.

Muzza, the Kiwi cricket team is always a wonderment!

They consistently punch above their weight. Yes they have some terrible games where they get a hiding. BUT they scrap like mad and give it everything and so they win the odd game.

Look at the line up. Not one of them is a really world class player. Vettori is no longer the really good bowler he was. He averages over 40 runs per test wicket for the last 5 or more years. His batting has actually improved. Ross Taylor is about the best player in theam and on current form would walk into the Aussie team! Maccullum is not a top class batsman. For every flashy game he has, he will fail in 5 or more! Yes we have some good talent in Ryder, Guptil & Williamson. I expect great thinks from Wiliamson - I believe that he has a lot of class and a great temperament & will overtake Martin Crowe's century count!

Good to see the young bowlers do well.

Thanks to the Black Caps for softening up the Aussies. Now the Indians can just grind them into the dust! Big Grin

Heck,
The Oz lads have an off day & the black caps punch above their weight...........you might walk away with the test series yet.......God forbid.

As for the Indians , they are mighty tough for anyone to beat on their home paddock, but playing away they are less competitive.

The "gentleman's game" has changed tho;
- fines for mutilating the ball
- rigged matches

.........or is is just that technology has allowed them to be caught.
