I grew up on a dairy farm and also had pigs. THe smell is something one can get used to. The problem is when the waste-storage pits are stirred before the waste is spread on fields as fertilizer. The days the pits are stirred gets your attention. I agree about the mink and poultry farms. Poultry has the amonia odor but boy, mink beats all! Pigs, by the way, make WONDERFUL pets! And somehow, women that have grown up on hog farms, are ALWAYS beautiful!

BAW, Now ang then while driving on the local roads one gets stranded behind a pig transport. YUCK! They really do smell bad. I sure do love pork ribs though, amazing something that stinky tastes so good off the grill. I'd have to think about which one represents Bakes best. Would have to be one that has the temperment of a bulldog, I suppose. Oh, and one with a bare ass.
