Gents, the old scope that the father-in-law had on the .222 was an old 2-7 Tasco. Nice slim little number that when you looked through it it had the tops of the lenses flatened off. Anyway it look good on the rifle. The action itself has dove tails on it. Just wondering if anyone knows who makes slim little scopes? and dovetail mounts to suit. I've looked at Optic zone and can't find anything suitable. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Try Warne, Redfiled, Leupold or Burris. They all make slim mounts for dovetailed 22's of differing configurations. Not sure who the agent in Aus is for any of those, but I'm sure a little Google action would turn something up. Alternatively, just order them direct from O/S.

i'm not really familiar with the 222 anchutz, but if the dovetails are the same as on a 22 action there are lots of rings for 1" scopes out there that will fit.
