I did a bit of guiding for Matt of Hunt Australia this season & we managed to take some nice Bulls ! Here are some pic's of a few.  A better look at those horns .  Looks like a Indian head .  Note the exit wound in the snout, 458Win 500Gr Soild from the rear .  And one for the Girls  | ||

Mark, Looks like you had a good season up at Gan Gan. I went back to Dorisvalle this year, taking my son along for feral culling and the way it turned out his first buffalo too. Hey Mike I heard you had a good run at Dorisvalle & the boy did well to, I think that Big Scrub Bull is awesome congratulations to you both ! I did a bit back there later in the year & wish you had been with me when I saw one of the biggest Buff I have seen in years when I was out shooting bait, raced back to get my Boar hunting client, but he would not shoot another Buff, I don't think I would have that trouble with you LoL !! Typical of an operation run by Matt! Shooting such baby buffalo! Just look at that HAIR on their bosses!  Don't you guys ever shoot hard bossed buffalo any more? Do these make SCI Inner Circles? Well yes I'm sure they all make a SCI some thing or other ! We have plenty of hard bossed, tick covered ball Bulls, but I have a Devil of a job getting that Bloody rope on they legs when they get to that size/age !! LoL ! Bakes, Looks to be a young Bull to me ! | |||

Local names are so confusing; thanks for straightening that out. I was a little concerned for a second, and was even starting to wonder about the antlerless (non-trophy) unicorns too. I had to beat Nakihunter to it !!! (While on that subject, I saw those Indian Water buffalo on a program Sunday night, didn't look much different to ours except for the horn shape !!!. the photographer was patting it on it's nose so I don't know what Nakihunter was going on about ).Previously 500N with many thousands of posts ! | |||

Dont say that he'll have conniptions... Im sure it was one of those lowly domestic ones!! We have some of the same horn shapes as those arnee animals out here... I find it very hard to believe that there is any significant genetic difference...
