Just back from the Thar show and think i shear the thouhgts of most that were there that for the 1st ever show it was well attended and shows good signs that with some tweaking will gather alot of momentum and grow to rival the Sika show in years to come.

I'll be at the Sika show next weekend, be good to touch base with AR followers.
Good to see TP and Muzza journeying South for the Tahr show

Hi Folks

If anyone is going to the sika show and you would like to find out first hand about our buffalo hunts - one of our reps will be at the show. Vince Ashe - Qld Deer Safaris - he hunts and guides on our concession and will be booking groups for 2008.

Vince does some cool Axis/Chital hunting as well!

Cheers
Matt

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Bakes Sika show and Tahr show are both hunting/shooting trade shows.

Get to the show early on Saturday morning as there are some very good deals to be had.

I got a VX-3 4.5-14X scope last for $450 beer

Its worth stopping in and talking to Highlander, top bloke thumb

who is highlander? and what did he have to offer at the show. i talked to quite a few of the shop owners there. is a chance i talked to him without even knowing it.

actually I think i know who it is, if it is him. he is a top bloke like top predator said. i believe you own 4000acres of prime fallow and red country? down in the south island, you run a hunting and fishing serive. if i remember correctly your last name is telford?

Right about some things Paul but a tad short on detail on some of the facts.
Yep i guide fly fishing from Nov-March and hunters march -July.
I lease all the land I hunt, its all private land hunting.

I talked to alot of good people at the Sika show,I thinks its the 7th or 8th time I've been at the show now.
Great weekend, the show keeps going from strength to strenght.
Alot of big sambar heads this season as well as huge fallow, lots of good sika, reds and tahr.

See you all next year, even if we don't know exactly who we are talking to!
