What's with this "new member" vs "one of us" crap ? Great way to make people feel welcome here ! (not)
This is the only forum where I have ever seen this esoteric bullsh-t .
You hear derogatory stories about certain Aussie towns where you aren't accepted as a local until your family has lived there for three generations . This aspect of the accurate reloading forums is right up there with the worst of ém . Guess it's not your doing but you're an Aussie and a moderator so I'm sure you'll get my drift .
Maybe my (yet to be born) grandson will get to be "one of us ?" Roll Eyes

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

Darwinmauser ,
Not sure what the "qualifying period" is? I've been here about 3 months I think . Just one of those principle things that piss me off .That "us and them " sort of stuff is for wankers I reckon . Have noticed that there seems to be the odd one about (not necessarily on the Oz / NZ forum). bull

Bushchook,
It only takes 25 post to become "one of us". NitroX's forum has several classes of posters, they are labeled, in cal. .224, 308, 375, etc. Don't sweat the small stuff, this is the best forum that I have found, with a broad range of subjects. You can find lots of info here, ask questions, have a laugh, what ever.

Well there you go Bushy ,it must have taken me about a month to post 25 comments. As hog killer said this is about the best forum on the web ,it's addictive, if you enjoy a good argument with the yanks the political forum is for you, but don't take anything to heart, sometimes the shit does fly.

Small town parochialism isnt only limited to outback Oz , the area we just left was the same . My family had lived there since the area was settled in 1900 or so , Alisons family had been there since 1904 but we were still newcomers after 12 years .

The nametag goes once you become a more active participant , dont stress over it, everyone has to start somewhere. Save the stress for things that are more worthy... Big Grin

Sorry I haven't replyed before now, I returned from Darwin and found my computer had shit its self. I've lost everything (No I didn't back things up....will from now on but Red Face)I've had to buy a new computer but now I'm back on line.

Mate I don't like it much either but as the guys said its no big deal. I will have a chat to the boss for you however. I'd like to see something a bit more TIC, something like Nitro's system or something funny.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"
