Can anyone give me some advice on what to expect - temperatures, game to shoot at, what to bring and what to wear etc.? ALLEN W. What no one told me about N.T in July is it is quite cool/cold at night don't pack a heap of warm clothes just a jacket and long pants for at night in camp. Knee high gaiters are must have too. "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few." Sir Winston Churchill

Palmer there is a sticky at the top of the forum pages that may help you. July can get cool at night, down to 7 degrees at night but up to high 20's during the day. Humidity is low. What area will you be hunting in? ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

We are hunting in central Arnhemland. We fly in to Darwin then charter out to camp. Graham is in the States somewhere but when he gets back home we will quiz him more -- but never having been to Australia I am excited to see the country and can't wait to start packing. I printed the sticky list at the top and appreciate everyones suggestions. From what I have seen so far I can't imagine why any of you that live in Australia ever bother to go to Africa. ALLEN W.
