Wondered who are the ''Good engravers in Aust now ? years ago in the ''outdoors yearbook''Col Allison featured some talents ,but you dont hear much at all about them anymore ,have a Ruger No1 i would like to get done at some point in the future

Contact Rolf Bachnick at Safari Arms in Melbourne (03 9739 5744) and he will set you up. I've had him do a number of restorations for me over the years and I have been very pleased with the quality of his work. It rivals Englands best...

Who are some of the names Allison mentioned? Would be interested to hear them.

I had a rifle engraved by Vinnicombe about three years ago, but I believe he's fully retired now. Otherwise he'd be my go-to man.

Stu C ,their was Vinnicombe ,Damien Connoly,Jeff Wilkins,Jeff R Brown[who i believe committed suicide] and Richard Chapman ,that was in the 1984 outdoors years book
