Hope this is alright to put here, please delete if not.

The recently formed Tasmanian Big Game Rifle Club and Tasmanian Deerstalkers are running a raffle to win a guided Buff hunt in the Australian Northern Territory with Graham Williams (the other prizes are pretty good too). Graham is a well known and respected PH, check his web site here http://www.biggameaustralia.com/safari.htm. Check in here http://www.ssaatasdeer.org.au/...ri_raffle_poster.pdf for full details of the raffle. Tickets are $50 but as there are only 400 tickets you are in with a good chance. The raffle is open to all comers.

The First Prize is a classic walk and stalk safari-style in premium Arnhem Land concessions and includes:
• Fully guided 1x1 safari by Graham Williams from Australian Buffalo Hunters.
• Return flights from Hobart (or Australian Capital city) to Darwin
• Remote charter flight in on day 1, spend 5 full days hunting, then drive out on day 7.
• 1x buffalo trophy fee.
• Classic tented safari camp accommodation
• All meals and drinks
• Preparation for 1 buffalo shoulder mount (Includes freight of trophy to your closest Australian city).

The prize is to be taken between June and September 2011. A full prize description can be found at www.ssaatasdeer.org.au or on the link above. Contact details are on the poster.

Second Prize - Leica 2.5-10x42 scope
Third Prize Leica 1200CRF Range Finder

Welcome to the forums Lix.I have no problems with it mate but when you say all comers, does that include overseas hunters as well?

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Good question, Bakes. If us, Yankees can enter, I'll take 2 chances. I hope Yankee Dollars are still good over there. CB

Great to hear

Overseas hunters are more than welcome. I believe there are already a couple of people from the US who have bought tickets. I would think that the airfare component will kick in once you are in Aust, and obviously you have to look after getting any firearms into the country.

I'm sure the outfitter would assist in any paperwork for a international winner of the raffle.
