I hope I'm wrong, but is the SSAA national president the same bloke who was Queensland president when that state had deer listed as a pest and banned duck and quail hunting?
It appears he's more adept at reading from a prepared script (and going over the time limit) than thinking on his feet rebutting politicians and bureaucrats
