cull hunts in Australia for feral animals. I have seen some threads on this subject, but cannot find them. I think there was like a two or three day shooting school involved? I also believe there was an SCI auction for one of these hunts not to a long ago, but I could be wrong. I am just looking for some general info, perhaps a website to check out or something that provides a price list. Any body have any experience on one of these hunts? What are they like? In other words, how is the operation run? Any links or contact details would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Some of the Australian members will know more, there are culls for pigs, donkeys, horses, camels.

I have shot a few donkeys at the end of my buffalo trip, just driving around a beef station(ranch) till you see some and then out and shoot them,i used the bonnet of the truck as a rest, culling maybe be something you enjoy,as most culls you shoot every animal.

Glenn Griffin has cull trip for buffalo, donkey and pigs all on one station,i may hunt with him again next year.

TP,

Thanks for the info. I will send an email off to guy you suggested and see if I can get some more info. I would like to go sometime this June or July if possible. When is the best time to hunt in Australia? I figured it should be sometime around then.

Thanks,

Brian

Hunt Australia and Matt Graham do hunts they market as a "shooting school". Lots of shooting at feral game, and it is marketed as an opportunity to learn and practice game shooting techniques in the wild. Probably shoot more animals by the end of it, than many clients would shoot in a lifetime.

NitroX,

Thanks for the info. I do not see a price sheet on their website. Any idea (roundabout figures OK) what he prices those hunts at per person?

Thanks,

Brian

They sent out an email to clients which I received a coupld years ago. The best and easiest way would be to contact Matt and discuss it with him. No harm in that.

Other outfitters would offer feral hunting hunts too of varying types and descriptions. But that one was the one described as a "shooting school".

NitroX,
Thanks, email sent off. Hopefully I will hear something soon.

TP,
Got an email from your contact, friendly fellow, his hunt is very interesting. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
