The latest Sporting Shooter has a article from Nick Harvey about a hunt up in the gulf. Seems there are some transplanted Rusa and Chital up that way. I knew there were Sambar in the top end, didn't know about the Rusa.

Rusa have always been on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf.
