How many times have you guys planned a hunting trip and then, at almost the last minute, realised that with the pressures and commitments of modern 'life' you aren't really ready to go?

I am one week out from a red deer hunt in Queensland and I still haven't shot, sighted or load developed for the rifle I intend to take! The rifle has been sitting in my gunsafe for over a year and I've not even had it to the range and shot it - not clever, I know.

So, tomorrow I am off to the range with a bunch of loads that I have just put together and I am hoping to have gun and load sorted by next weekend.

Every hunt I tell myself that I am not going to make this mistake, again, and yet I did!!!!!

Use a different rifle mate, and just go hunting.

Count me in too! Most of my rifles are in various states of repair, scope swapping etc... M98 has the best idea, have one factory rifle that you keep your paws off. Big Grin
Cheers...
