Hi all,

I've been considering a hunt in New Zealand for quite some time. I'm interested in free range animals, not monster trophies. Represenative ones are fine.

I am interested in Thar, red stag, and maybe chamois.

Can you guys recomend any guides for free range or public land?

Thanks!

I hunt free range as much as I can. All private land so there are trophy fees that apply.
Its all about game management as to the size of the trophies, certainly can't get you a monster Stag but plenty of 270-300inch Reds, 11-13inch tahr.

There are plenty of other good NZ guides that work on free range animals, Croc is one and like myself lives in Wanaka
