An unashamed plug. I bought a pair of CZ rifles off GBB over the holidays. Prices were low, service was excellent and the hunting/drinking/reloading/ballistic stories numerous. Highly recommended should you need to purchase anything anytime soon.

Thanks, mate.

I think we may spend much more time drinking beer and other days going out hunting. There's a lot of pleasure in owning many guns. Wink

Well done GBB .

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

PM later but there is nothing like free advertising.

Bushchook, you got your dealership going yet?

I can sell a Turkish Pointer, 5 chokes, etc for about $890.00. Not a bad shottie either.

Sarsilmaz starting at about the same.

How are you going with the importers?

I have had good luck with about 75%. Leave Beretta alone and buy through Horsley Park who do better deals. They can actually do a cheaper deal than Winchester too.

The reallly small importers- eg Baska- are very hard to come to terms with.

No GBB . Checked with the locals a couple of weeks back and it was pretty obvious that they had done very little with the application for 2 months . Think I spurred them into action . Not holding my breath though .

Parabellum Imports are great to deal with.

Others are as well like Accacia and Nioa but PI are worth a look. Of course, they don't import many brands but are very helpful.

I was most impressed with the new Baikal single shot . I got one in .222 and .308 to sell but I like the feel of the little .308 so it may go into my collection.

I was also pleasantly surprised @ the quality of their budget scopes, the Hawke series. At least as good as the cheapies from the other big importers.

Hold up a tasco or Nikko Stirling of equivalent power and cost and have a good look and I know whick one I like Smiler No bias of course
