Do any of you have old, image-movement scopes that won't hold zero any more or have started giving parallax problems?

As research for a book, I'd like to buy some to pull to bits, to test a theory.

I'll negotiate a price and pay the postage within Aust or NZ, if you would help me indulge my curiosity.

I have two Pecars. First one is just old, the second I had stripped down by some one who I was told was an expert. I did this so I could have the tube re-blued. When the tube was finish sent to have put back together. It came back total sexually inter-coursed. You can have them but how am I going to get them to you ?

Thanks Guys,

the Redfield sounds like a good starting point, Gryphon. PM me what you think it's worth.

Are the Pecars the Champion model, Foxhunter? The other models tend to be reticle-moving, my favorite system but outside the scope Smiler of my initial experiment. However, let me know by PM what you'd like for one or both and I'll get back to you. Ordinary post should be OK since they are not gun parts and need no licence to buy here.

Further offers appreciated.

Cheers
