TrackersNZGetting my hunting rifle into and out again: NZ to Australia
This question has probably been asked many times already. But is someone able to describe to me the steps required to take my gun (And Ammunition.) from New Zealand to Australia (Vic) for a 1 week hunting trip, then bring it out again.

Matt GrahamWhat state, hunting with outfitter/public land/private land?? All this depends a little state to state.
NT you have to use an outfitter to get your import papers and temp. firearm licence - this can all be handled through the outfitter. Other states you can get your papers with public land access or private property permission.
