Just had am awsome weekend on the West coast of the North Island.
For the weekend we saw over thirty pigs, shot five, lots of goats, shot maybe 25 and a couple of fallow deer shot 1.
Frezzer will be full on Thursday next week.

Heres some pics for ya's.

Were they fell!! 200 yrds with a Tikka 595 7-08 using Speer 115 HP's

My first Fallow, FINALLY !!
only about 100 yrds.

The thing about this is that the deer were only 100 meters from the pigs, while we were gutting the pigs we had more pigs coming down to see us and as we were taking the pigs back to the truck the deer came over to see what was going on??(we didnt see the deer until after we got down to the pigs so we didnt have a rifle)

These are wild deer, the wind was in our favour for sure, but bloody weird, Curiosity killed the deer at the end of the day, we went back up to the other truck where the rifles were picked it up, went back down, the deer were feeding away and the rest is history.

A fantastic way to finish a weekend.
PS we also got 15 Snapper, and 8 Gurnard with a contiki too!

Regards Runas Wink

Awesome. Lesson learned of always taking your rifle with you, even after you have shot something.
