S= E + K Success (as a post on a Board) = Enjoyment + Knowledge I was about to bug off from this Board after a certain post. Then, I stopped and thought about what I was really after on the Board. K (for Knowledge) Was a certainty as the people on this Board are incredibly well informed about the reason we are here- to share our knowledge about the reason we live, our rifles. I cannot believe the information I got when I was having trouble with my 22-250 playing up with the occasional stray projectile. E (for Enjoyment) I get a buzz out of logging on and reading what others have been up to or just posted messages. So I guess I will be around for a bit more. The moniker I chose “GBBMâ€, I can see would seem highly pretentious and I am sorry if that is the way it comes across. I do not believe that I am a “wankerâ€, but maybe I am. Ross

I do not believe that I am a “wankerâ€, but maybe I am. Mate - does it matter what anyone else thinks ? Jeez , if I packed it in from the shit that I attract I would have left ages ago .Although I may be to blame for some of that crap maybe...? Just be yourself , thats all I expect from you hopeless dickhead aussie wallies. I get a few laughs , learn a whole lot , share some hunting stories , cop a lot of flak , wind a few thin-skinned types up , and quite frankley dont care if you all think I am a wanker . At least some of you still talk to me.... And remember - wankers are self motivated , driven individuals with their destiny firmly within their grip. Bugger everyone else , thats my motto... ________________________ Old enough to know better

As slippery as Muzza's grip might be.
PS Greybeard, I did a search for the word "wanker" on this forum to find the post you refer too and consistently the most "wankified" person on this board was Steve Irwin. You're not Steve Irwin, are you?

GBB , Not sure which post it was that got up your nose . Must have missed that one . Forget it . Plenty of AH's around on the internet. I enjoy reading what you have to say . The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.
