What a great story! If you can read the minuscule print you'll see Kris had a hell of a life before she came here, too, but not in a good way.

I used to love Australian Outdoors, as well. I was never much of a fisherman but the shooting stories were much less mercantile than even the SSAA and ADA mags are now. I've kept one issue for its Colin Shadbolt review of B. Nickel scopes and find it incredible that there is no ad for them anywhere in the magazine.
