Just returned from a 6 day Tahr and Chamois hunt in the mountains of the south island of New Zealand.

Only accurate rifles are interesting

Magnum,

Congrats. Looks like your rifle landed in the snow with your chamois.

Outfitter?

Mt Al, Rifle was laid down in the snow while we set the Chamois up for the photo. There was about 2 feet of snow at around 5,500 feet where we were. White on the muzzle was white insulattion tape placed theer to keep much out of the barrel.

Crooknees, out of Wnanaka on private land. We though the Chamois might be below the snow line but alas not. hat was heavy snow, a few days old.
