Well after 6 days of frustration we got the little lucky break we were after and caught up with this guy.
very much one of those you had to be there to appreciate everything that went into this moment.
Needless to say we are over the moon to secure this top trophy.
A tinge of regret at the same time,but tempered by the knowledge that there are still 4-5 bucks down on the property that are similar to this on.
15 years of management delivering results.
Will be hard pressed to better this guy.
D.S 244 4/8.
Nothing but scrub and sheep fences down here.
Should be an interesting next 2 weeks as the rut is just getting underway.

Congratulations Highlander,without trying to state the obvious, you got an absolute monster! I was well pleased with my modest 215 DS model until I saw this monster - think in must go and remove the photos of buck from this forum!!!
