I completed the Category A/B training today so I am on my way. Was surprised to find that about a third of the 28 in class had never handled or shot a firearm. All did well and the instructor was great. Anyway, soon I will be buying and looking for places to hunt. Wink The c-van is en route from the State's with press, scale, thrower and priming tool inside. unlike back home, the shelves here are full of components, almost an oxymoron? Also, the range facility was the best I have seen, ever. A row of clubs that went on for a few km's it seemed. All in all, a great day.

If you're close to the NSW border look into an R licence as well. Hunting on some public land - see NSW game council.

And congrats.

Good to see you are off and running.
Hear you on the ammo stocks etc....was in Houston a few weeks back and could not believe how empty the shelves were in places like Carters Country and Bass Pro. Everybody stocking up while they can !!??
