A cool little hive of native stingless bees.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

I'm glad that's what they are. They look like they're made of pewter.

Do you see any fire ants up there?

They're tiny little ladies George. Only about 5mm long.

We have native Blue Banded Bees here, they have a sting but it is about 30% of a Euro honey bee. There are thousands of the little bastards around the joint.

They are good for the tomato's Gryph as they "buzz pollinate". I saw a new type of bee on the rosemary today. I think it was a leaf cutter.

I'm looking at getting some honey bee's in the future and building a top bar hive.
