They shouldn't of had anything to do with the G20 mate. I'd call them.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Have called them several times, and keep getting the same BS answer ''it has yet to be determined '' ,will be 2 months on the 13 of Dec .I will send them some extra information toomorrow ,if that doesnt work, i will contact my local member of Parliament ,trying not to be careful to antagonize them and give them an ''Excuse'' ,seems to be run by women in there ,so doesnt surprise me

Finally got them was 2 days off three months ,applied for another two and its already been 3 weeks ,whether this is becoming a normal ''thing'' up in QLD now ??? to make you wait alot longer, or they just single out certain people ,for reasons only known to themselves ..............

G'Day Fella's,

Tank Hunter, your experience is unfortunate but lets hope it is as a result of so many new LAFO's joining our ranks and there all buying new guns!

What PTA in Australia?
Here in states its Pits, tits and ass ( like quick cleanup without shower)

PTA is a ''Permit To Acquire '' .a firearm ,you have to apply to the Police Weapons Licensing Branch [which you can do online ,pay i think its $33.75 from memory, for the Priviledge ]Stating what you want, and what you want it for, and Why it cannot be satisfied in any other way ,Then Weapons licensing decide for you whether they will let you acquire the Firearm or Not ,If yes, they send you a Letter with the written PTA, then you can go to the Gunshop do the paperwork, handover more money for ,and Acquire your Firearm and take it home ,if not they come up with an excuse like its too Big ,why do you want another 6.5 when you already have 3 ,or just a power tripping female there, getting off on saying NO to a man

Sounds like the same scenario as in SA, up to six weeks for a PTA even though they say it's only meant to take 28 days.
3 months for a licence application.

It's all designed to discourage the average punter.
