Ross and anyone else interested.

Yes I do have copies for sale which Buzz Charlton sent to me for sale in Australia and New Zealand (or elsewhere if interested).

I will post information on how to buy them very soon. At the moment I do not have credit card merchant facilities and am setting these up, but cheques or money orders are fine.

I can organise a credit card payment through Pay Pal in the meantime if someone wants to pay that way. Doesn't cost the customer anything, they just need to setup a Pay Pal account for themselves if they haven't already got one.

The DVD is excellent and very entertaining, it is also an excellent educational too for anyone planning to hunt elephant, or dreaming about doing it one day. If you watch the DVD the dream might become a definite desire. It did for me, I bought a tuskless elephant cow hunt for August this year at the Down-Under SCI hunt donations auction only days later! Smiler It is probably the best DVD for this sort of pre-elephant safari planning that I have seen. It also makes of course a very entertaining hunting movie as well.

I also have a limited supply of Bill Stewart's African hunting book "Hunting Africa's Dangerous Game" and will package the two together if anyone is interested at a 'package' price. Bill is aa active member on the AR African hunting forum.

Will follow-up with more info and prices very soon.

I will work on Will's book next and provide a favourable price for purchasing both at once. Probably with the next day.

Here is the book James mentioned:

"Hunting Africa's Dangerous Game"
by William E. Stewart Jnr

"The experience of eighteen African safaris has culminated in great stories in the pursuit of dangerous game including what rifles and calibers will be enough gun for “standing†the charge. It also includes extensive coverage of bullet placement on elephants, as a result of first-hand experience, having taken more elephants than many of today’s African Professional Hunters."

Will is a member of the AR and other forums and has contributed many a valuable comment to discussions, with sometimes a wry humour.

This book is a first edition and autographed by the author.

Both the DVD and book I will sell at a packaged rate of AUS$124.95 if purchased together (while stocks last). Postage and GST in Aust and NZ included.

See this link for buying information

I'm happy to bring some of AR's and NE's members own contributions (ie the DVD and the book) to Australian members. Also seeing their hunts on film, or reading about their exploits and experiences.

DVD is fantastic, even for someone who will probably never get to Africa. Its great to see the guys getting into action and then the replay of the shot is brilliant. A wealth of info on the elephant.

The camera work is impeccable (sic). Haven't got into reading the book yet.

Are there other hunting DVD's out there that are as good?

GBB,
But isnt some of the gun handling just atrocious?!! Some of the best images of people "admiring the shot" your likely to see. The footage of a cow being stopped by the PH in self-defence is amazing. I just kept waiting for a large head to appear out of the dust...
Cheers...

Glad you Gentlemen enjoyed the DVD.

As for the camera work I have hired one of the same cameramen (Shaun Buffee) to film my probable stuff-ups Wink on my cow elephant hunt in August.
