Haven't seen a write up on them yet in our magazines here or the US ones I get.

Wondering if any others out thyer have tried these 36 Gn round in a .22-250 and if so, I wonder how accurate they are?

I had to look that up to see what you were talking about actually, having not heard of them; and found them under "new products" on the Barnes website.
As a side note, I wouldn't be surprised if the name of it ("grenade") causes a small ruckus with some crowds here. I still have a box of Winchester "Black Talons" that freaked people out, and they had to redesign them some and change the name just to get the heat off...

I'll bet the core is made of powder metal, that's not a new idea for frangible bullets. As long as the density is uniform ther's no reason it can't be accurate. It could use a better name !

I didn't notice the lead-free part earlier.
Some states, including this one, are asking hunters to use lead free bullets now. Nothing forced as yet, but I wonder if these are partly tied to that issue in some way?
It seems, similar to the duck issue with lead shot, that vultures and especially the endangered Condors in re-introduction programs, are ingesting lead from game remains/carcasses.

i haven't used a lot of them yet, and most of what i have done is in 221 and k hornet, but we did shoot a crow with one in 22/250 and it sure did make for a big black cloud of feathers. accuracy has been online with plain 224 bullets, that is to say it isn't as good as are sierra match, vmax or the like, but would be online with regular line component bullets. loading data seems to be about the same as for a 40 gr bullet.
